"It's my last week of being 30, so I'm gonna set my fucking hand on fire."

Ever wondered if the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were (relatively) real? Well, the fan theory explored in this Cracked video will have you thinking otherwise.

The ‘theory’ raise is brought up in the books and Jurassic World, but the wonderful people on Reddit have taken it to the next level.

There was a time where I watched The Big Bang Theory. Not out of necessity, just that it was consistently on E4 whenever I was eating dinner.

Repeat after repeat, Big Bang Theory to get on my nerves – in more ways than one. Pop Culture Detective’s video essay on the show’s ‘adorkable misogyny’, has further cemented why I stopped watching and began loathing the show.

Dave Grohl is back gracing the cover of Rolling Stone magazine for the second time. From discussing the reign of Trump to the recent passing of fellow musician Chris Cornell, Grohl opens up about mental health issues and the need to keep a positive mental attitude.

Grohl also reveals the mystery guest on Concrete and Gold; which doesn’t really come as a surprise:
“Then there was the day Justin Timberlake dropped by. He listened to what the Foo’s were doing and liked what he heard, and pretty soon he and Grohl were hanging out regularly, ‘We’d drink whiskey in the parking lot,’ Grohl says. ‘He was really, really cool. Then, the night before his last day, he says, ‘Can I sing on your record? I don’t want to push it, but – I just want to be able to tell my friends.’ So, the band had him add some ‘la la la’s to one track. ‘He nailed it,’ Grohl says. ‘I’m telling you – the guy’s going somewhere.’”
The release of Concrete and Gold is less than a week away, and it will also be accompanied by this rad animated short:

My review for their most recent single, ‘The Line’ can be found here.

I saw the original video of this when it was first uploaded, but H3H3’s take on it has made the stupidity of that video ten times better.

Lately, I’ve been finding myself in extremely, unmotivated moods. Nothing ‘exciting’ is happening to give my brain a jolt of energy.

Then, Julien uploaded his latest video. It’s a near three-minute short of how an ‘average’, uneventful day can have certain nuances. You have your routine, but you also have small surprises littered throughout the day that can catch you off guard.

A day that may seem trivial in hindsight becomes just as exciting as a day where you actually have something planned.

Just like this Thursday, when Jenna uploaded a video of herself dipping various body parts in paraffin wax; subsequently pioneering ‘fire hands’.

A video that I never knew I needed in my life until I saw the thumbnail.

Whilst I've been writing (and typing) this, Hurricane Irma has been raging through the Caribbean and up towards Florida. My thoughts are with all those affected by Irma, and those still suffering and dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey that hit last week.

Stay safe.
