Single Review | Idealism | 'Inside/Outside' (2017)

Taken from the EP No Mind, Idealism’s latest track ‘Inside/Outside’ is an atmospheric walk into the depths of an ambient acoustic soundscape.

Beginning with a muffled, rhythmic drumbeat surrounded by various synth hums, ‘Inside/Outside’ comes to life via the vocals of B. Adkins, matching the aesthetic of the track succinctly. Taking cues from musicians such as Massive Attacks and Moby, Idealism takes the processes and attributes of ambient electronica and sonically create a unique space with beautiful imagery.

Ending the four-track EP, ‘Inside/Outside’ is a gem of a track, created with stunning care and meaning.
